You can call the Des Moines County Communication Center at (319) 671-7001.

2. When am I required to file an accident report?

The State of Iowa requires an accident report be filed when damage is over $1500.00 or an injury or death resulted in the accident.

3. Does Burlington have a curfew?

Yes.
For persons 15 and under, when school is in session the next day: 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
For persons 15 and under, when school is not in session the next day: 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
For persons under the age of 18, when school is in session the next day: 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
For persons under the age of 18, when school is not in session the next day: 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

4. Who do I call to report an abandon vehicle ?

Call the Des Moines County communication center at (319) 671-7001.   You will need to tell them where it is located,  type of vehicle, license plate number (if known) and color of the vehicle.
