On Tuesday September 5, 2023, Norris Asphalt will begin milling Main Street. North/South Traffic will be maintained with traffic control. Milling will continue on Court Street then Valley Street. The milling operations will all be accomplished on Tuesday. Paving operations will resume on Thursday, September 7, 2023 beginning with Main Street. The paving operations will last until Monday, September 11, 2023.
Valley Street between Main Street and Front Street will continue to be closed to through traffic. This road section is scheduled for surface milling and new asphalt overlay. Milling is scheduled for Tuesday, 9/5/23 and Asphalt overlay is scheduled for Friday, 9/8/23 and Monday, 9/11/23. Parking will be prohibited on the above dates; the current detours will remain in place.
Court Street, east of Main Street is scheduled for surface milling and new asphalt overlay. Milling is scheduled for Tuesday, 9/5/23 and Asphalt overlay is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, 9/7/23 and 9/8/23. Parking will be prohibited on the above dates, and traffic will be maintained in the alley east of Main to High Street.
