The Public Works Directors Office announced today that starting Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 6:00 a.m., a portion of the Mt. Pleasant Street and West Burlington Avenue Intersection will be closed for reconstruction (see image below). The southern 13 feet of Mt. Pleasant Street will be closed as well as a portion of West Burlington Avenue. Through traffic on Mt. Pleasant Street will not be affected by this closure. The posted detour will utilize Wheeler Street and Winter Street. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the road will reopen to traffic on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 7:00 a.m.
