The Burlington Municipal Waterworks announced beginning Monday, October 29, 2018 at 8am, Columbus Drive will be closed to thru traffic to install a new water service in the area. Columbus Drive will be closed between Market and Agency Streets and will remain closed until Wednesday, October 31, 2018. All traffic will need to use alternate routes, such as Legacy Dr or Flint Hills Dr to Shields St to Agency St. Traffic signs will be posted for the closure. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area, watch for large equipment and men working.
