The National Weather Service predicted Mississippi River crest at Burlington to 17.4 feet triggering our response. Operations to protect the downtown area, the Auditorium, and the Market Street Lift Station against Mississippi River flooding are expected to begin at the start of next week.
The National Weather Service currently has a projected crest of 17.4 feet for Thursday September 29th.
