4. Bulky Item Collection

   In addition to collection of household garbage and the curbside program for recyclables, the department provides once a year, in the spring, pick-up of untagged large program-approved items such as furniture, etc. Bulky items can also be set out for collection any time of year with trash tags attached.

5. Curbside Recycling

   Recyclables are collected the same day as garbage but every other week. Collection is from the curb even if your garbage collection is in the alley. Holiday schedules for recyclables differ from garbage schedules; check your recycling calendar.

6. Household Hazardous Waste

   Hazardous material including explosives, waste soaked in volatile and flammable material, poisons, radioactive material, waste contaminated by infectious or contagious disease and other material which presents a hazard to personnel, equipment or the public.

7. Leaf Collection Program

   The city has a seasonal leaf collection program for three weeks in the spring and seven weeks in the fall.
