Parks Recreation
The Parks Division oversees and maintains all of Burlington's parks, including notable Crapo and Dankwardt Parks, combined over 150 acres in size.  Contact Ryan Gourley.   The Recreation Division includes the Flint Hills Golf Course, Dankwardt Park Pool, summer kids camps and recreation programming in Burlington.  Contact Brad Selby.  
Forestry Flint Hills Golf Course
The Forestry Division oversees the planting, care, and removal of trees growing on public right-of-ways, in city parks, and on other public properties.  Contact Casey Chadwick. Flint Hills Municipal Golf Course is one of the nicest golf courses in southeast Iowa. The par 71, 6,246 yard course with watered fairways and cart paths throughout the entire course is located just north of Burlington.  Contact Brad Selby.
Rec Plex Dankwardt Park Pool
The Rec Plex features tournament-class facilities for soccer, softball, sand volleyball and a guest services building including a restaurant and spectator plazas.  Leagues and tournaments are offered throughout the year.  Contact Kirk Danforth. The Dankwardt Park Pool is located inside Dankwardt Park, and includes a 50 meter pool with both 1 and 3 meter diving boards. The facility also includes a concession stand and a wading pool.  Contact Brad Selby.
