Snow Removal

What To Do When It Snows
When in doubt as to what to do when snow and/or ice blankets Burlington, or you have questions regarding city policy regarding snow and ice removal, refer to the Snow Removal Guide.
Parking on Snow Routes
Citizens are reminded that an automatic parking prohibition will take effect on posted snow emergency routes when snow accumulation reaches 2".  Cars parked on posted emergency routes at the time will be subject to ticketing and towing.  The parking prohibition will remain in effect on posted emergency routes until it is canceled by the City after the storm.  The Central Business District is not included in this parking prohibition unless declared in a specific Public Service Announcement.
